In 2018, Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg will celebrate its 275th Anniversary. We aim to use our long-standing experience in research and science to look into the future: On January 18-19, 2018 we will devote a symposium to the future of research, and the research of the future.
How will we undertake research tomorrow? What are the challenges for science in the globalized, digitized world? What role will it play in the 21st century, and will this role change? FAU invites you to take part in this journey into the future!
In the session “What tomorrow’s world is made of” there will be talks focusing on EAM topics held by Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Peukert (Erlangen) and Prof. Dr. Robert Schlögl (Berlin).
The session takes place on January 19, 2018, 13:30 - 15:00.
